6.16.203.XT912 & 6.16.204.XT912 ICS Build Leaks for Verizon Razr - xda-developers

So over the past month or so, Razr and Razr Maxx owners have been getting a bit antsy for the release of the coveted ICS OS (Android 4.0).  Fortunately for those willing to dig deep enough there have been a number of leaks that appear to be quite similar to the official version Motorola is due to release.  We've seen leaks .175, .179, .184, .185 previously but just a couple of days ago we have gotten a taste of even more leaks to .204 and .205.  The most recent will install Android 4.0.4 on your device and they appear to run just excellent.  Unfortunately, there is a catch.

Upgrading to the leaked ICS builds will take you off the upgrade path with no way of fastbooting or flashing back to stock Gingerbread.  The only safe leaks so far are the .175 build and .179 build.  Although they are less perfected than the later releases you still have the option of fastbooting back to Gingerbread and following the update path once we see an official Motorola release.

In the mean time, if you feel bold and cannot wait to taste the dessert Google and Moto have put out for us, then head over to DroidRzr.com or Xda and take a look at what your options are.

It won't be too long until all of the Razr owners are on ICS, but whats the fun in waiting.
